"I think JCW must be psychic on when to send these emails to review their products! I just got these horns installed on my wife's Honda Civic this weekend. For a small space installation like this civic these were the way to go. I was able to install the compressor between the electric radiator fans with an old seat belt bracket I modified to bolt to the fan sub-frame and the compressor. It is heavy so don't skimp on a heavy duty mount or a good sturdy place to mount it on. As far as the horns go they are cheap plastic but deliver a powerful sound. I mounted the horns between the radiator and grill. You would not want metal horns in this area! I found a light weight piece of metal to attach the horns to and bolt the metal to a unused hole behind the grill. On the electrical set up the kit came with a relay I used to power the horn directly from the battery. The kit doesn't come with the wiring, fuse or a button (should you need a separate button). I would rate the kit as intermediate as far as technical/mechanical ability is concerned. Had a similar kit that lasted about 4 years so don't expect this to last forever. Not bad for the price but you will most likely have to make your own mounts as every car is different."

"It took me about 30 minutes to install. The paper instructions are very confusing...luckly I had my great-grandad to help me! The sound is great!"

"They work as advertised, but I doubt they reach 134db. The installation is sort-of easy for the actual horns and compressor, but you need to have a good understanding of auto wiring since it comes with no electrical connectors or wire. Also, the diagram for negative grounded and positive grounded stock horns is the same, so if you follow the diagram for positive grounded horns you will likely end up with a few sparks and no horns. Since 99% of cars are negative grounded, shouldn't be a problem for most. The sound is a little high-pitched, and will definitly get you noticed, but it is about the same loudness as the stock horns in my 2005 Dodge Ram."
