" The boot fit great and was easy to put on, good instructions, and everything you need.
The only downside if the design of the clamp straps is bot the easiest to use if you want them on tight - just a bit awkward.
But, I haven't seen any clamp straps for boots that are much better,
I would buy again. "

" The cv boot kit is a very complete kit. The kit contains everything needed to replace your worn boots. There is plenty of grease in the packet the quality is of good quality. I would suggest this kit to anyone looking to replace torn or worn cv boots "

" I like the boots -- the material is soft and flexible as opposed to the hard one from which the OEM boots are made; the package includes enough high quality high-temperature grease to lubricate the metal parts and fill the boot itself, and it also includes a wire retainer ring.
At the first glance the metal bands that come with the package look a little flimsy. Although it is possible to tighten the bands up using just pliers and a wide flat screwdriver, I found that it is much better to use a special tightening tool for this operation (I used a Lisle CV Joint Banding Tool).
However, on the second thought, the bands are quite alright and fit the soft boot material well.
Also, I found out that it is a good idea to wrap the axleshaft splines with a plastic bag from a grocery store to avoid damaging the boot during the reassembly.
One more piece of advice: you will need a small three-jaw puller to remove the tri-pot assembly ("spider") / inner race from the axleshaft.
Also, use a little bit of grease that comes with the boot to lubricate the inner end of the driveaxle assembly -- the one that goes into the gear box or differential. Otherwise, it would be quite difficult to re-install the driveaxle assembly.
Before buying the boots, I first considered replacing the whole driveaxle on my Subaru with a refurbished one. Nonetheless, having read horror stories about refurbished driveaxles that immediately break and fall apart, I decided to stick to my current driveaxle and just replace the broken boot.
I think this is the way to go. "
