"I am a contractor and put these on my 1999 Chevy Astro Van. I have a tow package and the hitch receiver would always bottom out at dips in the road, even AFTER spending $400 on new heavy duty shock absorbers. My van is always loaded up with my tools, and I carry lumber on the roof rack too. After installing these helper springs ( about 30 minutes to install ), my van rides much nicer and has not bottomed out yet. My van also rides much nicer while empty. Living in the SF Bay Area, I go up and down a lot of hills.I would recommend these to anyone who is looking to improve the ride/suspension of their old work truck. Only $102 for my Astro, well worth the price. Thanks again JC Whitney!"

"`I have a 98 toyota tacoma that I'm changing into a flat bed. I got a new spring added a couple years ago, then added the helper springs after the flat bed. It really makes a difference in the way the truck rides, and what I can carry. One review mentioned that you need to buy 2 pair which I did but for the 98 tacoma you just need 1 pair for the back of the springs."
