" Installation was easy and the ride is great.
The Air Lift kit came complete, with all the attachment bolts and air line hardware. As I already had a spare compressor, I used that one with a dual needle gauge and independent (left/right) spring control that I purchased separately.
I used a high lift jack to expand and contract the suspension completely, meassuring the maximum travel and spring behavior while doing so. That allowed me to find the right position for the upper bracket. I had my rig on stands, and I dropped it while extending the suspension, be careful, secure your vehicle, and do not get your body into the wheel well while doing the installation. The instructions are OK, and the installation is easy for an average mechanic. I am saving to get a set of bags for my front axle as well.

" I had a 1 ton Ford crew cab that I put a flatbed on. The stock springs were light, so the tires would hit the flatbed when loaded. The airlift made all the difference. Drilling the frame for the upper bracket was not fun, but I am very pleased with my trucks load capacity and handling. The ride is jarring on the dirt trails when I'm not loaded, but I don't bother to lower my air pressure. I fill them with a bike pump (3-4 pumps) and run at about 50-60lbs. I carry a full load of wet logs, or a 300 gal water tank, and I can still pull 12,000lbs of tractor and trailer.
So I put another set on my Sprinter Van. It's a service rig loaded with tools, and I drive on very rough roads, so at 130,000 miles, my leaf springs were about flat, and I had developed a serious lean to my heavy side. I put the air lift on and leveled my truck right up. I haven't seen 4 inches of clearance to my back wheel fenders in years. I still need to replace the flat springs, but in the mean time the airlift has got me straight and true. On this kit, it used 3/8 self taping bolts to secure the top bracket to the underside of the frame. Those don't work very well, I think I'm going to replace them with something that gets a better bite on the frame. Other than that, the install was a lot easier and quicker than on the ford. I will likely be using this product on many more rigs. "
