" Had a local shop install the coil rites. All was good for a couple of days, then the right side leaked. Turns out the shop installed a piece of rubber hose as a grommet where the tube goes through the lower control arm hole that was drilled. The hose caused the push to connect fitting to release the tube from the fitting causing the leak.
Beyond that, instructions said, "cut the tube in half". This would have been ok, except on the right side, I had to avoid the exhaust system, which required more tubing. I recommend measuring twice, cutting once, maybe not in the middle.
I was pleasantly surprised with the ride of the vehicle with the coil rites installed and inflated, even without extra load. "

" I bought these for my Mercury Grand Marquis so that I could level the rear when towing our little trailer. They installed fast and easy. It took longer to take the old shocks off that I replaced while putting these on. Work just like I was hoping. "

" My '01 Tahoe has been lowered by the previous owner, 20" rims and low profile tires too. Looked great and low mileage plus a great CarFax report for cheap. trouble was that the axle snubbers were also 13-14 years old and it wanted to bottom out and as the axles banged the frame, the sound would make me cringe. What to do? Having just installed new shocks on all 4 corners, spending a few hundred dollars for air shocks wasn't appealing. So, I came upon these Firestone air bags that fit inside the rear coil springs for under $100 bucks.
Installation is pretty straight forward. I took the coils out because it was easier for me to push the de-flated bags through the gap, be-installed the springs, ran the lines as directed and inflated as per directions. Voila! My only change was to find a 1/4" T push to install fitting so now I have one inflation line instead of the 2 because it's easier to balance the pressure for me that way. I use this Tahoe to tow our 2 Harleys when we head north for a few weeks each year and this airbag from Firestone will definitely help the truck's highway and backroad manners. "

" These used to be made by Goodyear out of some kind of tough rubber/fabric combination and lasted forever. The Firestone is similar. The perfect solution for me when I had to remove the rear air-suspension shocks. They brought the ride height up to normal and restored the handling. Very happy! "
