    Stant® reverse-poppet thermostats feature a patented ELAC® heat motor. The motor is powered by a thermally expansive wax filled pellet calibrated to operate within rigid OE requirements to ensure a consistent and precise response to YOUR vehicle's cooling system's needs. Thermostats are made to last. Bridge at the top incorporates extra material for added strength and to securely hold the spring in place. Flange is made without a step to guarantee a great fit in newer vehicles. A seal is required and depending on application, may or may not be included.
