" I purchased this shock to replace the original shock on my 1993 BMW R100RT and it made a huge difference in ride and handling. I was wondering if my riding skills had suffered due to a time away from riding, and then I decided to change the shock absorber. Now I know that the problem was the shock absorber and not my riding skills. Just sorry I didn't purchase it sooner. My original shock absorber had 30K miles on it. "
