"Be aware the "bolts/nuts" for these are plastic/nylon material. Likely to keep people for overtightening something and breaking the plastic hand deflectors. I threw them out and used nice stainless steel bolts with acorn nuts. A much better look and stronger. Used a little LocTite blue on the threads so I didn't have to tighten them too much and risk cracking the plastic deflectors. They work good to keep say 75% of the rain off your fingers, 50% of the wind, 90% of the rocks and so far, 100% of the yellow jacket wasps. Yeah, a yellow jacket wasp had flown into the cuff of my riding suit and stung me 3 times on the wrist before I could kill it (not pretty). This and small rocks are the main reasons I purchased these deflectors."

"Works just fine and kept hands warm since no wind was hitting them. Had to mess with the right mirror tilt on the bar a little because of where the throttle cables go, some might have to put another bend in the bracket, but other than that no problems!"

"In Central Texas we ride year-round...even if the temp. is below freezing early in the day, it usually warms up later, and you'll wish you HAD rode into work, so we ride. Even with the best of gloves, fingertips can freeze numb with the windchill, but these deflectors break the wind, and make it tolerable. On the summer side of the coin, a 110°F blast furnace at highway speeds can cook your fingers well-done, but the deflectors work there too, not to mention keeping the bug juice off your hands. Construction is excellent, but I would like to have a bit more control over height adjustment. Still, they still do what they're intended for, and I'll keep 'em on year-round."

"Rarely do you get the product that fits easily the first time as promised, genuine quality and good looks.
These hand deflectors are all of that.
Got them for my Sportster 48. It is a naked bike, but I have a small windscreen that I have used for winter riding. My hands were always freezing though! I've looked around and could never find something specifically designed to fit my bike.
I am so happy I found these. I've been out in below 40 degree weather a few times now and am amazed at the difference keeping my gloved hands out of the wind has made!
They look good too. Nothing that stands out. It keeps with the old school look to my bike.
Highly recommended.
