Lost 2 mpg but I think my duals sound better.
Expected more for 300 dollars if I was not so lazy I'd reinstall my oem system
I am a fan of KN filters but this set up is worthless."

Pros: Easy installation
Cons: Some inconsistencies with installation instructions
"I am not a mechanic by any means. I was able to install the unit in about 2 hours. I took my time and doubled checked every step. There was some conflicting information. I was to disconnect a wire that did not exist and some of the instructions that "supposedly" pertained to 2008 models and newer applied to my 2006 truck. Other than a test drive, I have not taken it out to offer a performance comparasion. I wanted additional HP because we purchased a travel trailer. The first we pulled the trailer the truck was sluggish. A friend added this Air Intake system to his Ford truck for the same reason. He maintain his MPG and improved his HP even though he was pulling a 3,000# camper. I am hoping for similar results. His truck was louder. My Tacoma is not noticably louder."

Great Product,

Cons: Didn't come with a million dollars
"Read other reviews before I bought and now that I installed this on my 2010 V6 Tacoma, I don't understand what the guy with the 09 is talking about. It doesn't make much noise past what stock is unless your smashing the gas pedal, and installation was a breeze, took about an hour and fifteen minutes. Right away I noticed my truck was breathing a whole lot easier. I did have a quality problem with the tube, but I called KN on it and they overnighted a new tube to me at no charge. Good people. I had one of these on an older truck of mine and it worked great. This one does too. It added an extra MPG or two, maybe more if I wasn't have so much fun gunnin' it.

loud-is it worth it,

Cons: very loud noise-very very loud!
"2009 toyota tacoma 4/0--i can feal the extra power but i'm not sure i'll keep it on.adds alot of noise,too much.i might try sound dentiner inside the air chamber or i just might sell it om ebay.also expect to spend longer than they advertise i spent over 2.5 hrs.chk. the clamp #'s or you'll be taking them off and moving them.is it worth 11hp,if your young and like noise then yes but if your old and and don't then no."
