Performance Cold Air Intakes look as good as they perform. K&N® 77 Series Intakes virtually eliminate intake tract restriction by replacing the air filter and entire air path to the engine. Utilizes stainless steel hardware and 6063 mandrel-bent aluminum tubing. Performance Cold Air Intake Kits include powder-coated heat shield to isolate cooler air from engine heat (for most applications). K&N® high-flow, washable/reusable air filter will last up to 100,000 miles between cleanings (depending on driving conditions). Install intake kit using factory holes and mounting points. Legal in most states (not street legal in CA).

Pros: Easy Install, Huge HP Gain & Awsome Sound

"Put the 77 series K&N on my '09 Tacoma along with the Taylor Helix throttle body spacer. Instructions made install simple (2 hours). Huge differance in the vehicle!!! Can definitely feel the horse power increase. Lets the truck breath more easily & opens up the exhaust. Sounds COMPLETELY differant. (Deeper rumble from the stock exhaust) Not sure on fuel consumption yet, but I know I won't be dissapointed. Well worth the money!!!"

Pros: Easy Install, sounds awesome.
"Installation was very easy and straight forward. It took less than an hour. Only noticable difference is the sound above 2000 rpm. Makes my motor sound very mean. Its making my right foot very heavy. So far haven't noticed any mileage difference, but been in the gas a little more. The sound of the motor is worth the price of admission."

Pros: This item does increase the horse power for my truck
Cons: This item doesn't excatly fit in the 05' Ram
"I wasn't provided enough rubber hose for intake, you'll have to cut the manufactored case vent hose to install this item. The 5/8" 90 degree vent barb isn't needed being that you'll have to cut the case vent hose. Doesn't look very good with the heat shield provided. The intake sits on top and covers up the oil dipstick. The intake sits to far away from the air temperature sensor that it barely fits in the intake you'll have to stretch the air temperature sensor to make it fit. i recommend you purchase smaller hose clamps for the case vent."

"I INSTALLED THIS ON A 2002 FORD F150 WITH A 4.6 V8 ENGINE . TOOK ME BETWEEN 1 1/2 HOURS TO 2 HOURS TO INSTALL.. BUT I TOOK MY TIME.. LOOKS GOOD... SOUNDS GREAT... NOTICABLE PEP & HORSEPOWER BUT DID NOT SEE A MPG ADVANTAGE .. BUT WHO CARES .."
