Outside over-the-roof mounting frees up space for more passengers inside. Rack bolts easily into front windshield hinges and rear taillight mounts. Fits both soft tops and hardtops. Rack for 1997-2003 Wrangler models includes Raise N Shine Kit that allows front to pivot up�makes lowering the convertible top or removing the hardtop a breeze. Approximately 38"W x 70"L.

"Attatching the front to the windshield was simple, wish the back was the same. The metal bracket that goes behind the break light was to long and pinched my breaklight wire. Had to re-drill both breaklights, then re-drill my liscence plate frame as well. Had to also re-drill the metal tube that the bolt slides through on the back which makes the rack tilt back, the weld was to hot so it went through the tube and could not get the bolt through. Not sure if all racks are like this but now that it's on it looks great!!!!!!!!!!"
