Great product for the money

"Excellent carrier. Quality material, waterproof, large. I have used my carrier 5 times and it has been perfect. It holds a ton of items, the zipper is excellent and it straps down wonderfully. For the price, it is an excellent value!"
Pros: Large
Cons: Cracked a bit on the inside

Not worth it

"It did well with the items it was carrying. It also was easy to put on the car.
How ever for the travel it ripped part way through the trip and the lining also fell apart. Which was particularly bad because it started raining and everything got wet and had the lining all over my stuff."
Pros: Holds stuff well
Cons: it rips and the interior falls apart

"i bought the smaller one for my 2001 mustang. yes. seriously. it worked great to haul camping gear & still have room for my dogs in the back seat & a guest in the passenger seat. i somehow managed to scratch my car with one of the rubberized clips though. not sure how. it was a bit noisy going down the highway with this on the roof. also, i did stop a few times to make sure everything was tight & once one of the straps had loosened quite a bit. i had previously suggested this product to a friend who was moving from MI to TX & he successfully used the large size with his older ford taurus using the roof clips."
Pros: price, no roof rack needed, held a lot of stuff
Cons: scratched my car (oops), one strap came loose, noise

"We have 4 kids and a Yukon XL. Last year we had to take 2 vehicles on vacation so that we could fit everything. This was the largest carrier we could find and it was perfect.
We fit 5 duffle bags, 2 backpacks, a large collapsible canopy, 3 collapsible chairs, 3 pressure gates (like the ones you would use to close off a room from kids or pets), 3 collapsible kid play pens, and probably something else I'm forgetting. All of that fit and there was still room for more. The nice thing is that no matter how much you put in (a lot or a little), it all gets secured when you attach it to your rooftop.
The bottom of the carrier had a material on it that prevents sliding and scratching the rooftop. It was extremely easy to attach to the side rails of the roof rack (you do not need the crossbars). It also came with clips to attach it to the door frame, I think, but you don't need to use them if you have a roof rack.
Storage is easy because if folds up and fits in a small box (maybe 2'x1'x1'). Much easier to store than the hard cases.
The only negative I could think of is that it might not fit on a smaller SUV. The width of the carrier was just perfect for the Yukon XL. If the vehicle was any smaller (specifically, more narrow), it would have rested on the side rails, making it difficult, but not impossible, to attach the carrier to the roof rack.
Overall I would say this is a great product for a very low price. We would've paid much more in gas if we had to take 2 vehicles or if we had to rent a van or trailer.
"
Pros: Very large, easy to load, easy to attach to vehicle, didn't scratch/damage rooftop, easy to store
Cons: Fit my Yukon XL but might not fit well on smaller SUVs
