- Two design features maximize cooling efficiency in this compact cooler: multiple-path oil flow and cross-path air flow.
Multiple Path Oil Flow—Spreads oil along the surface of each fin instead of forcing it through one long tube. This allows faster heat rejection: heated oil comes directly into contact with primary cooling surface. Minimal oil pressure drop.
Cross Path Airflow—Forces air to travel above and below each fin, following a longer path through cooler. This allows more efficient transfer of heat to air.
Embossed, flat-plate aluminum construction and 1/2" NPT fittings. For cars, light trucks and vans. Choose 12-plate (small vehicles), 24-plate (small and mid-size vehicles) or 36-plate (mid- and full-size vehicles, small trucks and vans) cooler. Mounting kit (sold separately) and oil filter adapter required to complete installation.
