"Bak customer service is incredible. Almost hand walked me through the instillation on my F150 crewcab 2010. Ford bedliner needed minor alterations front and back on both sides for rail attachment. Once this is done it's a breeze. J C Whitney had the tonneau cover delivered about about 10 days earlier than I expected. Overall a great experience."

Cons: Flimsy, easily damaged, mfg does not honor warranty
"I purchased a BakFlip HD for my 2009 Ram Crewcab from JC Whitney after reading some good reviews about them. I wanted the HD model because my truck sits outside and they claim it is stronger than the regular model. Within a couple weeks, we had a small hail storm. Pea sized hail that did no damage to the truck or any of my neighbors cars. The BakFlip had dozens of small dents in it.
I contacted BAK and they said that their warranty did not apply, that I should contact my insurance company. The cover looks nice, but is not Heavy Duty in any way. No tonneau I have ever owned would have been damaged by the tiny hail that ruined this one. The extremely thin aluminum panels are easily dented and damaged. Way too much money for something this flimsy."
