"I ride a 2000 Triumph Legend TT and these grips are awesome. I spray the inside with hairspray and they slip right over the existing grips. Very comfortable for long trips and they kill all the road vibration. Make sure to purchase a good quantity since over time the very soft rubber will degrade."

"I use these to replace worn out grips on aluminum walking canes, and outdoor equipment. Works well on some larger tools and clipper handles, as well. Guess there are all sorts of uses, once you think about it, and the price is right!"
Pros: Comfortable, with Thick Cushion & Holding up well.
Cons: None

Bikemaster Universal Foam Grips

"This is my second pair of Bikemaster foam grips. First pair has been in use on my 1991 Honda VFR750F for over 15 years and still look and work great. This pair was easily installed on an a Yamaha FJR1300. Closed cell foam provides isolation from vibration and doesn't absorb water. Plus, the slightly larger diameter at the palm provides grip relief for my aging, semi-arthritic hands. Original grip removal/new grip Installation tips: 1) extremely careful use of an exacto knife simplifies removal of original rubber grips (slice & peel!), and 2) hairspray works well as an adhesive for applying to bars before quickly sliding/twisting on new foam grips. Happy hands!"
Pros: Virtually eliminates vibration from handlebars and slightly larger diameter provides grip relief on long rides.
Cons: None

"I've been buying barrel-shaped grips from J.C. Whitney for 10-15 years. The barrel shape conforms to the shape of the hand. Flat grips are said to be better for racing, I wouldn't know or care.
The last set, purchased in 2010, were open on both ends, which was perfect for my Speed Triple.
This set, for my 690 Duke had one grip with one end closed and I had to cut that end off with my pocket knife. Not difficult and impossible to tell afterward, but the old way was easier."
Pros: Barrel shape fits the hand.
Cons: Had to modify one grip by cutting the end off.
