"I purchased this rack for its looks and to transport my kayak. However, after installing it i had second thoughts. The front crossbar does not even clear the roof, it is even with the top of the winsdhield. It does not look like this in the picture! The kayak sits on top of the roof in the front, not on the rack. If you plan on purchasing this for a similiar use, I would not recomment this product. What a waste of money! Extremely dissapointed...."

Pros: Solid, stable, easy to follow instructions, parts fit as advertised.
Cons: Does not work with stock bumper, unless you drill the vehicle body
"Great rack, very well build and solid. The only downside being that unless you want to drill the body of your jeep, you need an aftermarket bumper. I know, not a big deal, because who wants to keep the stock one... Would have ordered the rear bumper first had I known this though, saving me a couple weeks.
Great rack though!"
