"Glade they were in my trunk. After the almost 2 foot snow storm the hit NYC on December 26, 2010 my car would still be stuck on an unplowed street in Queens. Why my wife drove our 2008 Accord down a street fit for Hummers I will never know. It took some time to get chains on the car due to the amount of snow under and around the car but once on I was able to free the car after a few minutes backing down the way she drove in."

"Put these on my 2wd Ford ranger and could immediately tell a difference going down my snow drift filled driveway. However, after a trip where I almost got stuck in a deep drift and spun the tires one of the cables broke. The other made it through the winter but just barely. If you need these to make very short trips or to bust through a drift they are great, as they are very easy to put on and remove. However, if you need serious traction aid or plan on using them long term, invest in a set of chains for the increased durability."
Pros: Provides increased traction, easy to install/remove
Cons: Not as durable as chains
