Avoid mishaps resulting from brake failure, make sure your brake pads are in top shape. And to help you keep an eye out on their condition, have a Centric Brake Pad Sensor installed. The Centric Brake Pad Sensor monitors the condition of the brake pads and automatically alerts you the moment they become too thin. The product is able to do this once the friction material on the brake pads wears down below two millimeters. This causes the wires of the brake pad sensor to come in contact with the metal surface of the brake rotor. Once the wire touches the metallic surface of the brake rotor, an electric signal is sent by the sensor, triggering the warning lights found in your instrumental panel.
