"I received the bars and installed them without measuring them.Big mistake! They are not 30 1/4" wide! They are 28" by industry standards of measuring.
So I re-ordered----same thing! So just be forewarned...not 30 1/4 but 28" in width. Also, they are a "buckhorn" shape which reduces the amount of rise that you think you are getting because the grips are downward and not outward.(Think Yamaha Virago)."

"The Honda clutch lever bracket, and front brake lever bracket have a small dimple on the bottom that fits into a hole in the Honda handle bars to hold them from rotating on the bars. You will have to drill this hole in these bars for the clamps to tighten properly.
And, no matter how I routed the original cables for clutch and dual throttle cables, they were too short. I had new cables made for all three (clutch and dual throttle) that were 3.5" longer than stock and they fit perfectly! The front hydraulic brake line had to be rerouted, but it worked fine, as did both the electrical harnesses. They were tight, and ideally I would like them about 1.5" longer, but after 1,000 miles I have had no problems at all.
I tried to include before and after pictures, but the website must be having a bad day."

Pros: Bars fit and gave me a slightly higher bar with 2" more pullback than the stock bars. I'm 5'8" and this was MUCH better
Cons: Will need to drill two holes (1 each side) for Honda controls. Will need cables 3.5" longer than stock.
