    "This replaces the previous version of the cheapest Fiams sold here. Those were Ferrari like, these are lower pitched, and sound like a very large car, not a truck or train. The Fiams sound good, but the tone quality is better with a metal trumpet, and am proud enough to use them all the time.
    There were some mild defects in the chrome plating (black spots and a few scratches), and the plating didn't go very far inside the trupmpet. The cast parts were nice, no extra metal or pits, and the top and bottom of the compressor were plastic. Mounting went easy with the included horn spacers. It fits nicely behind the grill of my 02 Solara with room to spare. I reviewed the instructions, which were complete enough, then did my own thing.
    It does require oiling on a six month schedule, and the factory said the compressor could be mounted sideways, just watch for (and angle against) water intrusion."
