"Had to trim 7/8" off the bottom with tubing cutter to make tube line up with bracket w/o stress or bending. If you have spin-on filter adapter, flip support bracket, bend tab and it will all fit w/o interference. Gave 4 of 5 stars for quality of parts and very glad to still have this part available."
Pros: Good quality and finish of parts.
Cons: It needs a little working to make it fit correctly.

"This is a great solution to an age old problem I've had with my '78 goldwing, After I ran it I had to wait until the oil cleared off the sight glass to read the oil level. This unit can be read as you need it and can be read with the bike on the side stand instead of having the bike standing straight up. Looks good and is a great conversation starter when I get around other guys that have the older 'wings, and after I show them what it is and how well it works, They have to get one for themselves...I love being the trendsetter for a change..LOL
Follow the directions carefully and check the compression fitting regulary and you will love this unit!"

"The kit was made for my 82' goldwing gl1100. I'm glad someone created a way to check the oil when the sight glass was unavailable. The biggest hassle was waiting for the oil to drain and then have to put it back after installing the kit. Great product."
Pros: Fit perfectly; easy to install; looks nice; not too pricy; a solution to my problem
