"this is the worst thing i have ever bought it came with several of the same parts and missing alot of the parts that was listed under this kit includes!!! the kit says it includes a)2 low rise valve covers b)14" high performance air cleaner c)2 wire loom brackets d)timing chain cover e)valve cover hold down straps j)dipstick and tube k)oil breather cap l)distributor hold down clamp m)oil filter cover n)universal fit alternator bracket and i didnt recive the air filter timing chain cover dipstick and tube or the distributor hold down clamp and i recived 2 oil filter covers and 2 of the universal alternator brackets!!! the refuse to give me the parts that the kit says it includes they said it was a typo but it was on there for 2 weeks as the same thing and they still have not fixed it!!! i paid 80.99 for a 22 piece kit for a 351 cu. in. and did not recieve close to the right parts!!!"
Pros: there r no pros to this kit only bad things
Cons: everything about this kit is bad

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? First Time
"I received the engine dress up kit for my 1964 Thunderbird - 390 engine and it is good overall. I now understand some of the previous comments about looking at a picture and opening the box to reveal only 2 valve covers, 10 wing bolt tie downs, 1 chrome vent cap and 2 chrome wire looms. However, I got exactly what I paid for 14 chrome pieces if you count each piece and this should be spelled out in the display for the order form, but none the less I am satisfied with the quality and price.
Anyone expecting a chrome air breather, timing chain cover, timing marker and the other chrome items pictured had better order those items in addition to this 14 piece kit. The way I see it, what the heck did you expect for $49.00????"

"the way they have it described, I thought I would be getting more than I actually got. All the stuff has the same description. I think they need to tell you exactly what is in each kit seperately. Otherwise, what I got looks good."
