"I used these clamps to mount a set of the bullet marker lights (ZX015215Y) on the 1" case guards of my 1982 Yamaha XJ650.
The clamps are of very sturdy construction and look just as good as they function. Something about them makes the chrome plating seem very thick, almost as if the brackets were made from solid chrome.
While I didn't use them for foot pegs, I have no doubt they are sturdy enough for that use.
Only down side is that the 1/2" hole is a bit on the large size for mounting lights."
