CHROMED TACHOMETER

Illuminated 2-1/4" diam. black face with white numerals and indicator needle
Glistening 2-5/8" diam. housing
For Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha cycles

Mechanical-drive units for custom choppers, cafe racers or replacement for damaged or defective original equipment. Easy to install. Clamp onto handlebars with original drive cables. Chromed mounting brackets, clamps and vibration-absorbing rubber insulation included. Tachometer reads 0-12,000 rpm.

Two types of tac, cable & wired,

"I gave the info for a 1984CB700CS, and the data in your system got it wrong. I need a (wired) tac not a cable."

Excellent replacement,

Pros: easy install and hookup

Cons: none

"Easy to install, just mount and use your original cable, hook up the light wire and off you go! Looks and works great on my vintage yamaha enduro. Get the matching speedo and your bike has a whole new look! Vintage bike parts are getting expensive and hard to find, but you will not be disappointed with these."

Chrome Tach,

Pros: Good looking Mechanical tach

Cons: Not a replacement for Electronic Tach

"This Tach was presented to work for a 1985 Kawasaki Eliminator. I bought it for my 900 which comes stock with an electronic tach. This tach requires a cable input. There are no views or statments to tell you this, so you will be out postage to ship it back to JC Whitney. Be sure of what you need when you order."

Does not work with Volusia,

Pros: Looks nice.

"Nice looking tach but it does not work on a Volusia. It needs an existing cable connection on the bike. It should fit, according to the catalogue info, but customer service now tells me it can not be made to work on this bike. Triple-check before buying."
