3,500-lb. GTW (Gross Towing Weight), 300-lb. tongue weight. Custom designed for easy bolt-on installation. How To Order Trailer Hitches.

Determine the Gross Towing Weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) of your trailer. The GTW is the weight of the trailer fully loaded and ready for towing. The TW is the downward push exerted on the hitch ball by the trailer coupler.Check your owner's manual to find the maximum GTW and TW for your vehicle. Important: Do not tow the trailer if either the GTW or the TW exceeds the towing vehicle's maximum towing capacity.

TW=Tongue Weight

A T-Connector plugs directly into the wiring harness and terminates with a flat 4-plug connector and eliminates the need to cut and splice wires. T-Connectors include the appropriate taillight converter or powered taillight converter, if required.

"Just like the instructions say. Approximately a 30 minute install. Only problem we had was getting the old bolts out and that had nothing to do with putting the hitch on. It looks great and is hidden."

Cons: Extreme Difficulty of Installations on my Vehicle
"I ordered this Hidden Hitch for my 2000 Buick Lesabre. I read the reviews, but was not prepared for what I was facing. I am mechanically inclined, but this thing was a bear. The drivers side was not bad, but the passanger side was another matter. I had to raise the back of the car 12 inches to facilitate dropping the muffler down enough to get a drill in there. You have to remove the rear muffler hanger which is no big deal, you replace it any way. Next you have to drop the center hanger. You must have a decent hydraulic jack of some sort for this project. The next major issue is putting the bolts in the 2 holes you drilled. My frame is a box frame with no place to put your fingers to put in the bolts. Hidden Hitch customer service answer was to wrap the threads with 'dental floss', no kidding. Then connect the dental floss to a piece of wire and work it toward the drilled hole. What if the floss breaks, I asked. Try not to do that, he said, you won't be able to retrieve it. I broke the floss. I had to cut a hole in the side of the frame to reach the 'lost bolt'. I finally had to take a stiff wire and bend and thread it until I could fish it in the hole. I paid $189.00 plus tax. I could have had a local muffler shop do it for $255.00. If you can get it done by professionals, I suggest do it. Great hitch, but a bear to install. 6 hours out of my live I can never get back."

"I had read the reviews prior to purchase and was hesitant about installation time, BUT upon arrival of the hitch I decided to time myself and give this review. Well I was really pleased that I was able to install completely this item ALONE within the 30 minute time prediction. Lets just say that I am over 57yrs old and placing the hitch and bolting it into place was easier than I had anticipated giving the weight of the item. But it slid into place and bolted up with ease just as the instructions showed, looks good and works better than I had hoped. And believe me it had to look good because I installed it on my wifes 07 Grand Caravan with stow and go seating. Thanks JC Whitney."
