"I bought these for my Mercury Grand Marquis so that I could level the rear when towing our little trailer. They installed fast and easy. It took longer to take the old shocks off that I replaced while putting these on. Work just like I was hoping."

"My '01 Tahoe has been lowered by the previous owner, 20" rims and low profile tires too. Looked great and low mileage plus a great CarFax report for cheap. trouble was that the axle snubbers were also 13-14 years old and it wanted to bottom out and as the axles banged the frame, the sound would make me cringe. What to do? Having just installed new shocks on all 4 corners, spending a few hundred dollars for air shocks wasn't appealing. So, I came upon these Firestone air bags that fit inside the rear coil springs for under $100 bucks.
Installation is pretty straight forward. I took the coils out because it was easier for me to push the de-flated bags through the gap, be-installed the springs, ran the lines as directed and inflated as per directions. Voila! My only change was to find a 1/4" T push to install fitting so now I have one inflation line instead of the 2 because it's easier to balance the pressure for me that way. I use this Tahoe to tow our 2 Harleys when we head north for a few weeks each year and this airbag from Firestone will definitely help the truck's highway and backroad manners."

"These used to be made by Goodyear out of some kind of tough rubber/fabric combination and lasted forever. The Firestone is similar. The perfect solution for me when I had to remove the rear air-suspension shocks. They brought the ride height up to normal and restored the handling. Very happy!"

"I have used Firestone airsprings before and have a heavier version installed in my full size F150.
I have been putting up with my mushomatic 2011 Hyundai Santa-Fe since new. With two people and luggage it ride great , four and luggage or a 2,000 pound trailer and it was flat on the bumpstops. Hyundai and the dealer were no help.
This product is apparantly not available in Canada so I looked to my favorite American auto parts place JC Whitney. The price was competative with other US suppliers and once shipping was factored in cheaper than most inc J...S .
The product arrived in good time and after reading the instructions I looked to U-Tube . There's a very good video on there showing installation on a 2009 Hyundai . As my suspension is the same I follwed it and the manufacturers .
The springs installed as easy as can be and work great. The SUV rides flat and true empty at 8psi and fully loaded 25 psi works for me.
Great product and well worth the time and money."
