" Ordered this hitch for my 2012 Ford Explorer and it was easy to install, even by myself only using a floor jack to hold in place while tightening bolts. Viewing online videos on installing did help to ease some of the steps. Such as dropping the exhaust.
Anyone looking for an after market easy to install hitch this is the one for you.

" I didn't realize this unit was not a bolt-up fit when I ordered. The installation requires cutting into the unibody frame to feed the attachment bolts into the frame. Curt provides easy to understand instructions and a ingenious 'fish wire' to fish the bolts through the frame and into position. The installation time was optimistic for me, took me 2-1/2 hours and I typically can beat the novice time estimates. "

" The hitch looks nice, and appears to be easy to install. However I encountered a problem when attempting to install it on my Jeep. I could not get the bolts threaded in. I found that the nuts that are welded to one side of the hitch don't even come close to lining up with the holes on the opposite side of the bracket, therefore the only way I know to make it work is to open the holes to a larger diameter. This is going to leave an excessive amount of clearance between the bolt & the hole. "
