"I drive a 150 miles a day most off it with cruise on and it works great. Easy to install."

"The cruise control kit, manufactured by Rostra Precision Controls, Inc. is truly a complete kit. It is well designed and very easy to install. I installed it in an '08 Chevy Cobalt with a pair of pliers and a simple box-end wrench. The install took only about 30 minutes and the instructions provided were very straight forward and clear. The only reason I had to contact technical support was to find out if the vehicle remianed operable after install but before dealer activation. In speaking with tech support I was impressed with their knowlege of the product and that they went beyond my question to give suggestions for the next steps in my install. Very friendly and very helpful.
The kit does require dealership activation however. I spoke with several local mechanics and was told that the "Candi Modual" needed to activate the cruise control is pretty much a dealer only item. I'm not saying you won't find a mechanic with it but save yourself the time and hassle and go to the dealership. Mine even did the activation at no cost.
Once activated, it is almost a factory installed option. In fact, when the cruise is engaged, the DIC message center actually displayed the message "cruise engaged".
When searching for a distributor of this kit I found a local shop that would install the kit at a cost of over $450. Don't do it, it is a very simple install.
Great product at a great price! ! !"
