Pros: Perfect replacement for my truck

"After someone ran into my truck and bent my oem bumper I needed to replace it. I searched the internet and could not find anything that was right so I decided to go back to my old standby for auto parts JC Whitney. They came through as always with the right bumper at the right price. It was a perfect match and was very easy to install.I am very pleased with my purchase."

Pros: Fairly simple installation.
Cons: Finish began to rust almost immediately.
"I purchased this bumper in Spring 2007 to replace the original factory rear step bumper on my 96 GMC Sierra. The original lasted 11 New England winters before finally rusting through. Hoped this one would last as long. Unfortunately it has not performed well. After 1/2 of it's first winter it is showing significant surface rust covering perhaps 20 percent of the visible chromed area. Can't see under the rubber strip or step cover. I am disappointed that it didn't hold up better."

"I purchased a rear bumper for my uncle for his truck. He is very satsified with the quality of the product and its appearance. He lives in southern Illinois in the country and does alot of timber driving / hunting. He also referred the installation went well for him."
