DELUXE BUCKET TOURING SEAT KIT
  • Replaces damaged or worn stock seat with comfortable, great looking touring seat!

Saddles are deeper and wider than on standard seats for more comfort, support and less forward sliding. Passenger's saddle is contoured to allow extra leg room. Mounts to original existing seating pan. Bucket saddles are designed for greater support and an easier ride. Features top leather-look marine-grade vinyl upholstery. Super-tough upholstery will survive long exposure to sunlight, rain and temperature extremes. One-piece molded polyurethane foam cushion-precise-density foam won't break down or weaken even after prolonged use. Good-looking diamond-pattern upholstery is double-stitched with no-rot thread and is attached to cushion to simplify seat installation. Seat installs on original-equipment seat base-pan-no special tools needed. Mounting instructions included. NOTE: Seat cannot be returned for credit, refund or replacement if altered, modified, abused or damaged by customer. Cannot be shipped express.

Nice saddle,

Pros: firm foam , quality vinyl
Cons: rear seam not very straight
"I just installed this saddle on my '87 interstate - the old cover was starting to rip and the foam was getting compacted ( can't really complain after 24 years !). You will sit considerably higher - maybe 2 to 3 inches more. The foam is very firm - I weigh 205 pounds and I don't seem to press in to much - but the comfort feels great. Installation wasn't very complicated - flip it upside down, kneel to compress the foam , stretch the cover to the base and staple. I used a standard manual staple gun - my electric one would not properly seat the 1/4 inch staples in the plastic seat base. It took maybe an hour and I was very satisfied the results."

Pros: 2-3 inch lift on the seat. Very comfortable. Looks great!

"The seat adds a 2-3 inch lift which feels great! Very comfortable. Looks great!I checked other sites and I saved about $150-$250 by shopping JC Whitney.
Installation was not that hard but I do suggest getting a rivet gun and have the wife help if she rides with you. We did it in about 2 hours.I think the hardest part was trying to stretch it.There really is no need to overstretch it(like I did) because there is plenty of material to work with.Take your time on it. Feels GREAT! LOOKS Great! RIDE ON!"

"Installing this product is not for the faint hearted and it will require a pneumatic stapler, a strong grip and a little strong will (or a good friend who does). Flipping the seat upside down and placing your knee and your weight into the seat pan will give the needed slack in the material to be able to place the staples throuth the seat cover and into the seat pan. The seat will set the driver up about three inches, it is firm and it gives plenty of support for those long rides. No matter who makes the seat, having more contact on the seat area will always require standing while you stop, but hey, I'll take that trade any day. The seat looks excellent and the brown is very close to an exact match. I've taken a couple of long rides now and this seat is far superior to the stock Honda seat or the soft cushy that I just took off."
