Bad description...not for my truck,

Cons: See title....and they arrived with some surface rust
"Ok, the description says they are for 1500 series Silverado with Hydraulic breaks....that is my truck, but when they arrived they fit ok, but the diameter was 1/2 inch too small. So, part of my brake pad did not make contact. Since I destroyed my old rotors banging them off the truck, I had to install these anyway and drove around for a few days until I called JC Whitney about it. They confirmed these were not for a 1/2 ton CrewCab Silverado and offered to refund my money. So, I bought plain rotors from a local shop and will mail these off today. This is NOT a slam on JC Whitney's Customer Service, but their sales website needs updating."

"got in 01 for 00 Dakota OE rotors warped. greatly improved stopping distance & no warp wobble woo whooo...after 8 yrs & 60,000 mi useing semi metalic pads the wobble is back & the rotor is 1/8 inch ridge outside lip. Got some metal on them... going to replace & go to ceramic pads to get better life."

"Several years ago, when I had a Jeep Wrangler, the factory rotors and brakes would grab in wet weather. So, when it finally came time to replace brake pads, I decided to replace rotors also instead of having them turned. I was hesitant of JCW products because of the addage "You get what you pay for". Other places were much higher than here. I got them anyway. No regrets. They performed flawlessly, even better than my expectations. The wet weather grab was completely eliminated, all with using store bought semi pads. Rotors outlasted the engine; Dead lifter popped up, so I sold it and bought a used 95 F150, and am planning to exchange its rotors for these also. I checked the Jeep's rotors before the guy came to collect it - wondered how they had held up after 5/6 years of daily use- and you could hardly even tell they had been used much, and without any warp, pits or grooves."

Better Brakes for your Mini-Van,

"Our family mini-van (1999 Pontiac Montana, Regular WB) needed new brakes. Since the rotors had already been machined in the past, I was looking for new rotors. After searching online, I concluded these were the best available for the price with a recognized retailer. So I ordered new front rotors along with Satisfied Grandsport GS-6 Ceramic Pads. After carefully following the break in procedures, the Mini-Van brakes so well I am considering putting these into my Camry and my Miata ! The overall braking distances have decreased significantly, the feel at initial bite is very confidence inspiring. At maximum braking, these brakes just stop, no fuss, no noise, no drama."
