Pros: Bolt on kit
"I purchases this kit for my Jeep TJ. Kit was a bolt on affair. Some tweaking to the stock rear hard lines. But other than that a great product. I have since installed 3 of these kits on fellow members of my 4wd club. Every kit fit with no issue. The braking is 100% better. No more drums packed with mud. I would recommend this kit for anyone looking for better braking and peace of mind after going through the mud. great product!!"

Jeep Cherokee Rear Disc Brake Kit,

Pros: Well Designed, direct fit, except........
Cons: You have to find parking brake cables.
"This kit does not include parking brake cables, even though product picture shows them. The manufacturer, Crown, makes two kits, 35DISC with cables, and 35DISC-2, no cables. This kit is 35DISC-2.
Plan on another $40-60.00 for the cables, or you have to weld something up. I believe Grand Cherokee cables fit, but I'm not certain."

Cons: Very time consuming and you need to buy more parts
"This kit is a nightmare. YES IT IS CHEAPER THAN THE OTHERS, only because it comes with less. You need an adjustable proportioning valve, ($50) which you most likley have to take to a shop to get installed for about $100. You may even need a new master cylinder. Then, you need to make your own emergency brake cable because CROWN doesn't make them yet, or you could have them made for about another $100. I would not recommend this to anyone. Spend the extra money and get the more expensive (complete) kit."
