"2002 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4L 4X4.
I removed the old and installed the new system complete in about 90 minutes in my garage on the floor. A sawzall made removal of the old clamp on the converter quick. Rust took care of the rest of the old stock exhaust system. Alignment was made easy by a jack stand. The chrome tips do a nice job of dressing up the system as it exits behind the right rear wheel.
I was very impressed with the system and the ease of install. I recommend it to anyone who wants a bit more rumble to their exhaust note.
My wife did complain of the drone at highway speeds in the cabin. She'll get used to it.
"
Pros: Easy to follow instructions. basic tools needed.
Cons: The highway drone is a bit loud in the cabin.

Easy install with no welding

"I bought this system as a gift to myself for Christmas. Christmas was 40 degrees so I decided to tackle it in the driveway. As others had mentioned in their reviews the hard part is getting the old system off and with my truck being 9 years old it was no exception. Once I got the old system out of the way putting the Gibson system on was really easy. I was concerned that there may be leaks where the clamps were but I found none. The 2 stainless tips look good and were easy to install too. I also liked the fact that I could go back to my stock system very easy if I decided to since I did not have to cut anything, although it may be different for other applications. The sound is deep but definitely not loud at the tailpipe. In the cab it sounds deep and throaty with a very slight drone at highway speeds. BTW this was installed on a 2000 Tundra."
Pros: Easy to install due to good design. No need to weld
Cons: Slight noise in cab at highway speed was not expected

Looks Great Sounds Super

"Installed on F-150 5.6L Super Cab, Short Bed.
I was hesitant to start this DIY project, as exhaust systems can be a real pain. The most difficult part,as I anticipated, was removing the stock muffler and tailpipe (all one unit).I finally was able to unstick the stock unit and wiggle it out. The Gibson unit was in four pieces (short head pipe, muffler and two tail pipes which exit behind the right rear tire) which made installation a snap. Gibson used the stock hangers and all fit perfectly. Installation was a breeze. This is a very well engineered product. The sound is awesome when punched, but relatively quiet when just maintaining speed. Plus it looks great.
I can actually feel the power increase. As usual, it was a pleasure to do business with JC W.

"the installation took about an hour to an hour and a half. the fit and finish is great, i purchased the stainless one and so far it has remained clean and no signs of rust. the fuel mileage saved was the best feature! it went on my 2003 f250 and out of the showroom it would get about 10.5mpg on the highway with no pick up while going up hills. after the exhaust was installed it went up to 16mpg and the trunk never downshifted when going up hills! well worth the money spent!!!"
