The fan clutch is computer controlled and regulates the fan speed. This function is performed through the use of a viscous clutch. The fan can fail due to fluid leak, improper fan speed, or inoperative electronic sensors. When this happens the enginewill overheat. Only Dorman produces a new aftermarket fan clutch, which meets or exceeds original specifications and is covered by a Manufacturer?s limited lifetime warranty.
