Surprising pipe for the money,

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"The look and finish on the pipes is surprisingly nice for such a low cost slip on. I put these on my sons 1998 sportster 883. They have a very nice sound right out of the box and they look better than the OEMs. The only reason I tried these is they have repackable baffles. I expected them to be extremely load but I could add additional packing. I didn't have to. They sound good as they are. they are not obnoxiously loud. The only thing that was an issue was the support bar. it is drilled and bolted to the pipe. you have to drill the pilot hole for the mounting bolt on the bike. its a little tricky getting the pipe where you want them, hold it in place and mark the bar for the hole.on the forward pipe, I had to bend the support bar in two places as well as drill the bolt hole to get around the brake control. I did notice some flaking of the chrome where I bent the bar but its behind the pipe so it doesn't show. Time will tell if the chrome overall will hold up. but at under $100 for a pair of slip on's, if he gets several years out of them they are worth it. I would buy them again."
Pros: good looking shorty with a nice sound
Cons: the support bar is solid and you have to position and drill the hole for the attachment bolt.

"I was able to make this work, but JC Whitney said this would fit my 1965 CB160 with the provided adapters and it does not. I had to go by an adapter for both sides at my local auto parts store. Other than that, the quality is there and they look nice, though it does not work with kickstand either, so that is a mod you would need to make as well."

"emgo 19" turnout mufflers are well made from heavy gauge chrome plated steel.sound is excellent.nice deep rumble.the best bang for your buck.installed on my new triumph speedmaster.try them,i dont think you'll be disappointed.these are nothing like the stock pipes.if your looking for quiet pipes,then these are not for you.i'm more then satisfied with these pipes."
Pros: cost.sound. ease of installment.
Cons: clamps are'nt very good.buy a better quality.
