"I put these on my 1981 Honda 900F Supersport. They look like they are made for vintage bikes and provide a nice clear and wide field of view. Great mirrors for the price."
Pros: Wide field of view and very stable.
Cons: None.

"I purchased a pair of these mirrors for my 1983 BMW R65. The low price was a concern but after taking delivery and installing the mirrors... I'm good to go!
The mirrors are of all-metal construction in spite of what was written in an earlier review. The black finish matches the BMW and the mirror size permits viewing more than your armpit.
I will order a second pair for my 1981 BMW R65."
Pros: All metal with good construction & design
Cons: A bit of image vibration

"The factory mirrors were round, and chromed. My bike has a black Vetter Vindicator fairing, and the round chrome mirrors just didn't look that good. I looked at nearly every mirror JC Whitney has listed for motorcycles, and these were among my top choices for style, first, price second. They are solid steel construction, very finely machined parts. The lock nuts on the stems, are also used on the mirror head assemblies, to secure them to the upper stems. I found that by loosening the upper lock nuts, I was able to properly adjust the mirror heads, after the stems were attached, and secured. The steel is finely crafted, precisely machined, with quality throughout -- another outstanding EMGO-manufactured product. In a word, impressive. I took my first ride with them, and the view was so much better with rectangles, instead of circles -- I could see much more of what was behind me. The stems on these were much shorter than the stems on the original rounds, but that didn't make any difference in visibility; it did, however, make them look much better on the bike. The handgrips are black, the control levers are black, and now the mirrors are completely black, too. Cosmetically, it improved the bike's appearance considerably. Vibration of the glass, while riding, was neglible; it appears as though the glass is sitting inside a thin sleeve of rubber sandwiched between the glass, and the metal housing, again, it is well made. The view was accurate (flat glass, no magnification), distortion free, and wide enough to see plenty of roadway, and traffic behind me. For the money, these mirrors are a tremendous bargain. The quality is far greater than I expected for the price. The photographs do not do them justice, either, but that may be due to image compression on JC Whitney's web server. The glossy black paint finish is very nice, and durable. After I finished tightening the nuts with my crescent wrench, there were no marks, or scratches on the nuts, or any other part of the mirrors. I would recommend these to anyone. Cheers!"
Pros: Precisely machined metal -- solid construction, stable, large viewing area.
Cons: None.
