"I received this yesterday and mounted it to my front fender today. It took all of 1 hour, including 30 minutes trying to figure out the center and where exactly to place it. Actual installation was simple (you just have to get past drilling holes in your "baby"). But the final picture looks great."

"I mounted this Eagle ornament on my Honda Spirit VT1100C in about 20 minutes. I marked and drilled the mounting holes first without loosening the fender - this kept the fender steady for drilling; second, I removed the fender bolts so I could access the underside for tightening the mounting nuts. I'd recommend that you carefully measure the width of your fender at the mounting site, then divide those measurements by two (2) to determine the centerline of the fender - don't try to eyeball this one. Make separate measurements and markings for each hole to be drilled. You might want to dab a little bit of Loc-Tite or grease on the drilled holes since you'll have the potential for fender rust. Once the holes are drilled, it's pretty much a simple matter of fitting the rubber mounting pad and chrome eagle. Don't cinch it down too tight as you might buckle the edges of the mount pad or wring off a bolt. Use nylon lock-nuts if you've got 'em. Good luck! Hope it looks as good on your bike as it does on mine!"
