"Bought this controller to control an electric fan on a thunderbird after the belt driven fan failed. Controller works great. Easily adjusted. I bought a small plastic box at an electronic supply store to put the controller in to protect it from the weather."

"This switch is not weather-sealed at all. I had to wrap it a bit in electrical tape and seal a couple holes with silicone or it blows the fuse in mild rainy weather just sitting in the moist air. OTOH, it does a great job of controlling a fan for a stripped Ranger so far. For a normal vehicle with a/c, etc, I'd get a much fancier control and relay paralleled at least."
