All Exedy clutches are built from the ground up as racing clutches-not rebuilt from modified stock clutches. Pressure plate castings are made of ductile (nodular) iron-not gray cast iron that can burst or explode. Cerametallic friction material can handle much more slippage than stock-type discs without slipping or fading. Clutch disc has a spring center damper to reduce impacts/shocks to drivetrain, protecting transmission and the rest of the driveline system. Pull-type clutch has a high torque capacity, light pedal effort and great release performance. And, unlike the competition, it has a patented snap-in/snap-out release system to simplify installation without sacrificing any of the advantages of a pull-type system. Kit includes either a single ultra-thin cerametallic disc or a single normal thickness ceramic disc and spring center damper disc assembly. Custom-fit racing flywheel sold separately.
