How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? First Time
"After years of wanting a tonneau cover, I decided to buy one. I looked at all the brands and styles, and while the motorized roll-up armadillo-shell things are nice, they're way out of my budget range. I finally decided on this cover over the Truxedo brand mainly due to price. For xx.xx less than another brand, I can live with a few minor inconveniences.
So I'll elaborate a bit on the pros:
--Fast shipping...I had it in 3 days. Your mileage may vary.
--Easy installation AND it comes with the allen wrench needed, but be sure to have a tape measure handy and SQUARE it up before tightening everything.
--Looks nice and has kept the snow and ice out of my bed for a few weeks now.

And some cons:
--The biggest one is that the clamps do NOT fit exactly where they're supposed to fit in my bed because of the ribs on the interior sides. I would have to cut into the sidewalls to place the clamps where the side rails indicate. I just placed them as close as possible.
--The bow ends may crack easily, but I installed mine when it was 25 degrees out so the chill might have had something to do with that. Either that or frozen hands.

--And the stiffness in cold weather is referring to rolling it up and trying to get the velcro straps around it. I'm hoping this is easier when it is warmer and more flexible. I don't really think I'll need to roll it up too much when it's cold anyway.
In all, I would recommend this tonneau cover even with the cons above. They're easily dealt with or avoided with extra caution."
Pros: fast delivery, quick easy installation, less expensive than other brands
Cons: not 100% exact fit, bow ends crack easily, stiff in cold weather
