Pros: Looks good. Strong.
Cons: Hard to install. Had to really force it to lign up.
"I laid the bike down yesterday approaching a roundabout. Slick painted warning on road and poor braking at about 15 mph or so. The V Star 1300 tourer went on 20 ft or more without me riding on the Cobra fatty engine guard (with leather cover) and tires. The guard prevented any major damage leaving the bike with only a few scratches. I road away without a problem. Great investment."

"Received this set within 1 week of order. Followed installation instructions and was able to install in about 10 to 15 mins. Really helps to "dress-up" my '98 1500 Intruder."

Pros: installation, looks, compatability with pegs
"these were as they were supposed to be, they mounted easy enough, but primarily they were ordered to accomodate highway pegs, they worked perfect for the job, it instructions say they are for looks only and not safety, so that's a down, but they function perfectly"

"I didn't want to buy these at first simply because I have a 2007 V-Star 650 Classic and I though these would end up being huge. Seeing as options are limited regarding my bike, I went ahead and took a gamble and it really paid off. The installation only took around 20 minutes and the bars look absolutely great on my Yamaha... not overly wide at all like I was expecting. Great pick if you have floorboards - it covers them completely without overextending and looking ridiculous."
