"These shackles are teriffic. Very easy to install on the front. The rear needed a little more work (either drop the fuel tank or cut the existing bolts)."
Cons: Have to cut the rear bolts or drop the fuel tank to replace the rear

"installed on 94 YJ along with shackle reverse kit and add a leafs. Works great, went in easy. Some modification required on front hanger for the shackle rev kit. Great Product."

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"Ad states that these will fit 1979 CJ5. My springs are2 inches wide and this shackle is 4 inches wide. Did not even attempt to put on as there would have been way too much play in them."
Pros: Strong, heavy construction. Look to be bulletproof

"The shackles lift the jeep well. and they are a huge improvement over the stock shackles. I used them in conjunction with a 4" lift kit for a total of 5 3/4 " lift. I am very pleased. Easy to install but with leaf springs it is not real hard anyway.
Install was on an '84 Jeep CJ-7."
