Aux Brake Lights,

"I put two on the back of my Valkyrie as aux. brake lights. I got tired of people running up on me not realizing that I was stopped. Along with a brake light modulator these two bright lights used as aux. brake lights get people's attention. I find that people are stopping a good 5 to 10 feet further back than before installing the lights. I have never had to change the bulbs in over four years. The chrome is still perfect. These may seem a little high priced, but you really are getting what you pay for, and then some."
Pros: Very bright, take vibration well, long lasting bulb

"I mounted a pair of these on the case guards of my 1982 Yamaha XJ650 using a set of the heavy duty 3 piece bolt together clamps (ZX064718X). My goal was to improve visability of the motorcycle, which they do quite nicely. They also throw off a lot of light which should help me see the road (won't know for sure until the spring thaw).
The cases on these lights seem very sturdy (heavy!) with high quality fit of the parts. The chrome plating seems excellent.
The one downside is that the socket for the bulb is not mounted to the case, and can be pulled off the bulb if the wires get tugged (happened to both of my lights during installation). Be sure and anchor the wires firmly to prevent failures on the road.
Mounting the lights in a 1/2" hole like I did requires two flat washers. Unfortunately the lights come with only one. In my case using a galvanized washer on the back side was not an issue but for installations where the back of the mount is visible an additional chrome washer would be desireable."

"These lights look really good and put out alot of light. I mean these suckers are bright.
They are a perfict match for my Headwinds Headlight. I also like the fact that the visor is adjustable and you get red, amber and clear lenses, that way if I want to move them to the back I can. These two features are better that lights at twice the price.
THEY ROCK!!"

"I HAVE HAD THESE INSTALLED ON MY VTX1800 FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER. THE CHROME IS VERY GOOD! THEY ARE BRIGHT, SMALL IN DIAMETER AND LOOK GREAT. I REMOVED THE FRONT STOCK TURNSIGNALS AND INSTALLED A PAIR OF THESE IN FRONT (AMBER). THEY EASILY MOUNTED TO A FLAT CHROME BAR PLATE EXTENSION ~2"L ATTACHED TO THE LOWEST WINDSHIELD BRACKET MOUNTING BOLT. I HAD ALSO BOUGHT A PAIR TO USE AS ADDITIONAL REAR BRAKE LIGHTS (RED), EXTRA SAFETY. THEY ARE LOW ON THE FENDER SIDES MOUNTED WHERE THE STOCK TURN LIGHTS WERE REMOVED. I INSTALLED SOME AMBER TRIANGULAR MOUNT LED LIGHTS OFF EACH SIDE OF THE REAR FENDER ABOVE THE NEW STOP LIGHTS. THESE ARE NOW THE REAR TURN SIGNALS.
NOTE!!! THESE LIGHTS ARE VERY BRIGHT AND I ELECTED TO USE THE UNUSED RED LENSES FROM THE FRONT LIGHTS ON THE REAR DOUBLED IN EACH LIGHT TO DIM THE BRIGHTNESS! I DID THE SAME FOR THE FRONT AMBER TURN LIGHT INSTALLATION. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE LOCKTITE ON THE LENS MOUNTING ALLEN SCREW AS I MANAGED TO VIBRATE OFF ONE LENS COVER RECENTLY AND HAVE JUST BOUGHT A REPLACEMENT.
OH, AND FOR THE FRONT MARKER LIGHTS I USED SOME SMALL AMBER BAR LEDS MOUNTED UNDER THE LOWER FORK CROSS PLATE. I REALLY LIKE THE MORE STREAM LINED APPEARANCE THE BIKE NOW HAS WITH THESE FENDER AND FORK HUGGING LIGHTS."
