"Put these on my C-3 Corvette. Didn't want the expense of real chrome headers. Used the stock manifold and cut the Y-collector pipe, added a custom bent piece of 2" to connect to the sidepipe and VVVVRRRRROOOOOMMMMM !!! Sounds Great. I like the looks of the smooth chrome instead of the factory type pipes with the grille/louver over the pipe. THe supplied hardware was adequate but I took extra steps and some additional hardware for my "perfect" installation. Easy to do in an afternoon with some basic tools. (I got the connecting pipes made up by my local muffler shop. After mounting the sidepipes I took a metal coat hanger and formed the shape exactly and the shop duplicated it. Perfect fit the first time)
