"I installed this on a 70's Bombardier sw48 sidewalk snowplow that has a 4.9 straight 6 Ford motor. When running ,the motor now backfires due to excessive back pressure. I will replace it with a true glasspack. I will keep this one around and maybe put it on my backhoe which has a 3cyl diesel."
Pros: Seems well constructed
Cons: Inside tubes too small for larger engines

"I've used a couple of these on my two Arctic Cat ATV. Pretty easy to weld on Spring hangers and bell out the inlet to fit the stock header pipe. Performance improvement over stock too and far less cost then aftermarket ATV mufflers."
Pros: Free flowing, No Packing, Sounds great.
Cons: Needs modifying to fit an ATV

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"I put a 19" pair of these on my '05 F150 w/ a 5.4 Triton V8 in a true dual configuration. Was concerned about choking it down with the smaller internal tubing, but so far no problems. Hasn't seemed to affect my mileage. Checked it on a drive from North Oklahoma to Southeast Texas (actually mileage may have a slight increase)."

"I got this muffler for my '02 dakota with a 3.9 V6. When I recieved it, the box was banged up and the inlet size was different, too big. I had it welded on and it sounded great but I started to notice a decrease in power. The inner tubes are too small for a V6 and after about three of four months one of the tubes broke and rattled under load. It was a good thing I kept the stock exhaust, I had that put back in. I would only recommend this muffler for a four cylinder car or truck."
