How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"Noticed an instant change in the steering response to my CJ2. Hardly any wheel kick and I was much more confident to drive the jeep at higher speeds over all surfaces! I smacked the stabilizer on a rock and destroyed it on my first offroad adventure. Convinced I couldn't live without one I immediately ordered another. I tried a slightly different mounting position higher on the axle for the second install hoping the axle would protect it. The stabilizer clamp spun on the axle and dented the outside tube against the steering bellcrank! It still works 100% but I was pretty frustarted to have damaged 2 stabilizers in such short order (they're $60 each for the CJ2). They perform extremely well, they're just a bit more fragile than I thought they would be."
Pros: Really did a good job taking slack out of the steering
Cons: not very durable

"I ordered 4 shocks and this steering stabilizer. The picture of the shocks had a label which said "dust boot not included." Only after receiving the order did I realize that the boot is not included on the stabilizer I ordered. You have to click "View More Details on this SKU" to find this information. Just so you know."
Pros: It fit - it works
Cons: No Boot

"First off, If you have a lift or anyhting bigger than 32' tires, get this! The install was easy. Removing the old stabilizer was a nightmare though. Highly reccomend applying liquid wrench to your stabilizer mount on the crossbar atleast 3 days before removing, I had to set mine on fire with a propane torch and grease to expand the metal and break the bolt with a hammer. But after that, installing the RC piston was amazing, the instructions could have been better, but pay attention to watch your new mounting, make sure your steering is going to clear the new bolts and nut. that would be a BAD day if you neglect to approve the clearance."
Pros: Performs Well, Easy Install, Looks Nice on my 02 TJ

1999 GMC Jimmy Stabilizer,

"I bought this for my 1999 GMC Jimmy that had a problem with bump-steer. It has a 2" lift on front & rear and when I would hit a small bump, the vehicle would jerk pretty hard. After installing this stabilizer, the drive is much better and the steering wheel no longer jerks. It made a huge difference. Since this year Jimmy does not come with an OEM steering stabilizer, there is only one bracket (on the frame near the driver lower control arm) already on the vehicle. The kit comes with a mounting bracket which lets you attach the other end to the tie rod. I was cautious about ordering because I didn't know how it would bolt on, but it went on very easily and worked great."
Pros: easy installation, stopped my bump-steer!
Cons: figures on instructions were difficult to read- pixelly
