How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"I origionally heard about Pulstar Spark Plugs in an outdoors magazine, which included a very detailed explanation of the electric theory of how they work and how they are different from the traditional designs that comptetitors offer. Being an electrician, I was fascinated, and the electric theory made solid sense to me. I had to agree it was a radically new idea to improve on old technology. My next step was to order a set from JC Whitney for my 2003 F-350 4X4 (6.8L Triton V-10). They arrived promptly. I had a professional mechanic install them. He had never encountered this particular brand before, but he also said they appeared to him to be high quality. Per the JC Whitney guarantee, they fit perfectly.
Since then I have seen better throttle response, and an increase of 1.5 miles per gallon fuel economy. (12.5 mpg - 14 mpg) (The previous figures are based on a before & after trip down the same 120 mile streach of highway with the cruise control set on 65, without a trailer, & without mentionable weight in the box.) The difference in throttle response is not a night & day change, but it is mentionable.
In short, I am very satisfied with their performance. I know they are expensive, but in my opinion worth the price... especially at today's gas prices."

"The part number that they are useing is an incorrect part number for the 3.6 V6
I ordered them and recevied them and they confirmed that the Dg1i or JC Wit #238755 is the number they have for the 2006 Passat 3.6 V6 , but as I said they did not fit. So either JC Whitney or Plustar have an incorrect number."
