MYLAR®-FACED FOAM SOUND/HEAT INSULATION WITH VINYL LINING

Protects against noise, vibration, heat and cold
Use on van interiors, engine walls or as hood liner
High density vinyl lining between layers of foam blocks sound transmission and is fire resistant
Reinforced Mylar® aluminized facing prevents absorption of dirt, fuel, oil, water and other elememts
Trims with scissors or knife for perfect fit

Permanent noise/temperature insulation ideal for use in engine walls, hood, trunk and fender. Great under mats and floorboards. Acoustical-quality foam reduces airborne noise and noise from engine by absorbing vibration. Vinyl lininig between layers. Mylar® aluminized 1/2-mil. facing is attractive and easy to clean�also reflects heat. Installs easily with contact adhesive (sold separately, ZX268587). Instructions included.
Note: Due to temperature variations this product is not to be used in the engine compartment�product will melt at 200°.

"I found this to be a dense heavy material with a reflective covering that makes a good heat and sound insulator, which is what I wanted.
Relatively easy to cut to desired size.
Secured well to fiberglas with adhesive.
Good product!"
