Air Lift 1000® Air Springs give vehicle vertical lift. Polyurethane cylinders fit easily inside existing coil springs without any special tools. Air pressure can be varied to accommodate additional loads and to achieve desired suspension stiffness. Inflate at service station or with on-board air supply (sold separately). Sets include 2 air springs, hose kit, inflation valves, hardware and instructions. Not for use on leaf springs. F=Front, R=Rear, FWD=Front Wheel Drive.

Toyota Sienna installation went well, April 24, 2009

"My wife and I just installed the Air Lift 1000's on our 2006 Toyota Sienna (rear.) We were able to push the air cylinders in between the lower coils without removing them or loosening the shocks. The back of the van was lifted with a floor jack to the maximum height without lifting the tires off the floor. Jack stands were used as a safety precaution before we crawled underneath.

It takes a fair amount of force to slide the air hoses onto the barbed fittings. A bit of soap made it much easier to slide them on. Upon completion we inflated the air cylinders to 20lbs. No leaks! The back of the van immediately rose almost 2 inches. That is exactly what we were hoping for in order to increase ground clearance for a Class III trailer hitch.

Total time to complete this project was three hours including coffee breaks. The instructions were clear and helpful. Shipping was prompt. We are very pleased with this product so far."

"AIR BAGS ARE VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY HELPFULL.
IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR A SIDE ONCE YOU GET THE OLD ONES OUT.THEY DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO AND HELP SUPPORT THE FRONT END WITH A PLOW ON IT .
AWSOME PRODUCT!!!!!!!!"

Cons: Didn't do as much as what advert lead me to believe

"It took some effort to install it, but I got there. But I am disappointed in performance. Advert made me believe, esp from the picture that it would fill up the entire spring and lift my vehicle. It doesn't fill up the spring and it lifts the vehicle height by about two inches is all. How it works (something they didn't tell me) is it; You undo all the linkage to the rearend and drop the axle, this allows the spring to fully extend to its greatest length. Then, the fill up the air bag. This expands the bag and locks in the "full length" of the spring so that when you put the axle and vehicle back together that part of the spring that the bag is expanded upon stays expanded instead of compressing. This is how it gets its height. Prob is that bag slips inside the spring and eventually you do loose some of the height you gained. I'm moderately happy but still looking for something better to lift my vehicle (Expedition)."

Cons: Installation instructions, involved more than was nessecary to do the job

"I found that it was easier to suck out the air and stuff the bags between the springs and position them than to go through the job of dropping the rear axle to get them between the springs. installation time my way 20min. their way 2 hrs.+. I like my better. it was easy. They work great, good lift."
