The latest advance in lighting! Unlike standard halogen bulbs that use a thermally inefficient low charge of bromine gas, these high-intensity bulbs utilize a high-pressure charge of xenon gas to increase the bulb's luminous flux by over 20%. The result: a white light that is dramatically brighter than the light produced by halogens of the same wattage. Outperform standard headlight and fog/driving bulbs for greater safety. Replace existing bulbs perfectly. Note: H4 bulbs can be used to replace 9003 bulbs. Sold in pairs.

Costly repairs if not done right, November 21, 2009

Pros: Whiter light
Cons: draws high AMps and melts down the plug

"I just recently had to replace both sockets for the connectors to the bulbs. They were melted down and caused the failure of the lights during a long distance drive. The Ford dealer said it was because the sockets on my Expedition were not rated for the amps that these bulbs draw and that it would be $100.00 just to diagnose the problem. I was lucky that I could get the replacement plugs at the local auto parts house and did the work myself. The over the counter consumer bulb was actually brighter with better illumination though yellower."

Pros: much brighter than stock
Cons: none

"A friend and I went halves on a pair for our motorcycles. His is an '07 Honda VTX1300 and mine is an '01 Kawasaki ZRX1200R. The bulbs were a perfect fit for both bikes and so much brighter than stock. Highly recommended for motorcycles, not only will they help you see but also be seen."

"I INSTALLED THESE LIGHTS ON MY "06" MALIBU SS AND IT TURNS MORE HEADS NOW! GREAT BLUE COLOR AND BRIGHTNESS, REALLY CAN SEE ANIMAL EYES FARTHER DOWN THE ROAD.... WILL GET SOME FOR MY "87"SILVERADO.. I'VE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THE THINGS I GET FROM J.C. AND I HAVE GOTTEN A LOT OF STUFF!!"
